Release of The California Air Resources Board(CARB) Research Solicitation - April 8, 2021
The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) has released its fiscal year 2021-22 research solicitation. The projects included in the solicitation support CARB’s regulatory priorities related to health, environmental justice, economics, air pollution, and climate change. A research budget of $4.2 million is anticipated to fund eight new projects and three white papers. The selection of these projects was guided by the Triennial Strategic Research Plan for funding years 2021-2024.
CARB will host two solicitation workshops at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on April 8, 2021. At these workshops, staff will provide an overview of the solicitation requirements, project details, use of the Empower Innovation website, and be available to answer questions.
