The CSU Systemwide Virtual IT-Cybersecurity Roundtable on June 17th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Dear California Cybersecurity Education and Industry Colleagues,
Current cybersecurity employment data indicates 63,087 available jobs in California (and 597,767 available nationally) and only enough cyber workers to fill approximately 68% of employer demand/hiring need (https://www.cyberseek.org/heatmap.html). The California State University (CSU) System educates 485,550 students every year and employs 56,000 staff and faculty (https://www.calstate.edu/csu-system/about-the-csu/facts-about-the-csu/P…). What is the impact of CSU activity in cybersecurity education, research, community service, and workforce development? The Roundtable seeks to demonstrate the impact of the CSU in these critical areas. We want all 23 campuses to present their highlights and accomplishments and emphasize our numerous activities in this critical area. Please join us at this virtual event planned for mid-June intended for key stakeholders and major partners in government, private industry, and K-12/Higher Education (across all academic disciplines).
Please join us at this exciting CSU Virtual IT-Cybersecurity Roundtable Meeting!
We welcome all interested colleagues from the education and higher education communities, industry/professionals, and public sector partners (local, state, federal) at this collaborative roundtable to facilitate deeper partnerships, enhanced communication, and information sharing among key stakeholders/major partners.
The virtual event is scheduled on June 17th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. -- please see the following link to secure your roundtable event tickets.
