This three-day immersion course focuses on the essential knowledge and skills grantseekers need to become effective proposal writers. Attendees will become familiar with the key components of a competitive grant proposal and a well-organized budget, and develop a targeted list of foundation funding prospects. The first two days are devoted to proposal writing exercises, peer review exchanges, and creating sample budgets. On the third day, you’ll do actual foundation research and participate in a mock proposal review process that will help you understand the proposal from a grantmaker’s perspective.
