Getting Started with R

This Stat CORR Methodology and Multivariate Analysis (MAMA) presentation will introduce you to R and some useful add-ons like R Studio. Bring a laptop. We’ll start by playing around with R as a calculator and then move to show its strengths as a software environment. We’ll discuss its advantages over applications like SPSS and MS Excel, and show how it can be used in undergraduate classes without too much consternation.
