CSUPERB: CIRM Bridges 2.0 Proposal Writing Workshops - RSVP Required

The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) has issued a new Program Announcement for Bridges to Stem Cell Research and Therapy ("Bridges 2.0") grants: https://www.cirm.ca.gov/about-cirm/bridges-stem-cell-research-and-therapy-awards  


The agency set aside $45 million for up to 15 grants to Bridges 2.0 training programs. Applicants do not need to have won prior Bridges grants from CIRM. Proposals are due October 1, 2015.


CSUPERB will organize two proposal writing workshops; one in the Los Angeles area at Cal Poly Pomona’s Kellogg West Conference Center on Thursday, August 27, 2015 and one in the San Jose area (exact location to be confirmed) on Thursday, September 3, 2015 for interested campus teams. Dr. Michael Yaffe (CIRM program manager) will attend both workshops to answer questions teams may have.  CSUPERB will provide lodging (or a supplement) for non-locals for up to two individuals per campus team.  Continental breakfast and a boxed lunch will be provided by CSUPERB for all RSVP’d attendees.  CSUPERB is unable to provide reimbursement for transportation to the workshops.
