Carnegie Fellows Competition

We are seeking nominees for the Andrew Carnegie Fellows program.  For 2018, the competition is focused on the areas listed below (full details attached) and SFSU is allowed to nominate two people, one junior (Ph.D. 2007 or later) and one senior scholar.  Nominees must be US citizens or permanent residents. Complete details can be found at https://www.carnegie.org/grants/grantseekers/andrew-carnegie-fellows/ .

Formal applications are due at the Foundation by November 17th.  In order to identify the two strongest applicants for SFSU, we request that faculty submit a 3-page proposal addressing one of the four broad topics as well as a one-page CV to both me (mjscott@sfsu.edu) and the ORSP grant development specialist Jessica Mankus (jmankus@sfsu.edu) by October 30th.  Once all of the candidates have been identified, a formal selection process will be completed by November 2nd.
